My work explores grief as an ongoing, transformative process. Through interdisciplinary mediums and narrative-driven approaches, I create pieces that reflect the nuances of loss, memory, and healing.
Informed by my own experiences, each work is one of catharsis — not always shown in overt expression, but through carefully constructed forms that encourage contemplation, most notably the circle described and depicted in Lois Tonkin’s Theory of Grief. Each work seeks to offer a reflective space where grief can be felt and processed, allowing both myself and the viewer to find pause amidst the complexity of emotion.
